Provincetown--”P-town” to familiars--has been my spiritual home since I first spent four days there in July 1981. In fact the charming, historic and, yes, even tacky (in some spots) little town at the tip of Cape Cod is special to many people.
It’s in P-town that so many of us feel free just to “be.” Who we are, what we do, whom or how we love, don’t matter here. Laughter is as abundant as sunshine. Excellent food and entertainment, quaint little shops and galleries, endless beaches--P-town has them all.
Come for a day, spend a lifetime. No matter how long you stay or the time of year, as Patti Page sang, “You’re sure to fall in love with old Cape Cod.”
